Request for Proposal-Food Service

Question: TMISD re-bid the contract last year for a new 1 year with 4 renewals and is not scheduled to go back out to bid until 2025.  Is there a particular reason you are putting this back out to bid this year?  
Answer: TMISD is under new leadership and is exploring the best dining experience for our students.

Question: Will the presentations be done the same day as the pre-bid meeting?
Answer: No, the presentations will be scheduled at the pre-bid meeting for another date.

Question: Due to COVID could the pre-bid meeting be attended virtually?
Answer: The RFP indicates attendance is required. A technology glitch could possibly push back the pre-bid and bid opening dates and our timeline is too tight. We are requiring in person attendance for the pre-bid meeting.

Question: Are Electronic Signatures acceptable on the proposal documents?
Answer: Yes

Question: Are you scheduling presentations for the vendors who attended the Pre-proposal meeting?
Answer: Yes, they will be scheduled for after the bids are submitted.

Question: Is there any equipment being currently amortized? If so, please provide listing of equipment, current balance owed and current fair market value.
Answer: No
