This uniquely prepared computer (the Window on the World) is one function of the Career Club. Students can use it to "visit" numerous career options and job locations in the area from the safety of the Library before they visit or pursue the opportunity further. As it grows, the Club will include recruiters, speakers and many other functions to "HELP" TM students determine their career goals and to explore options. Other Career Club (WOW) computers have been installed by HELP at Moody, Ray, Coles, King and Carroll HS, as well as several CCISD middle schools. In our 6+ years, HELP has taken over 2,000 students to more than 100 different work sites in the Coastal Bend on more than 200 field trips into the world of work! Dozens of students have found the "Job of their dreams" or have been introduced to new fields of study.
