Participating in extracurricular activities or belong to school clubs provide students with opportunities to lead students and gain experience in organizational activities.  Having these kinds of leadership positions can often open doors for future opportunities.

Involvement in school clubs or extracurricular activities also provide students with a positive outlet for their energy. Students who are involved in clubs are participating in a positive activity during that time. Students who are active in clubs are less like to indulge in negative behaviors and are more likely to be successful in school.

Don’t underestimate the importance of having fun in school.  Some of the best times and memories students have are the experiences of belonging to a club.
