Hi! My name is Cristina Lino Sanchez. I am from Mexico City, a lovely city by the way. When I was 18 years old, I got my first degree, kindergarten teacher. After four years of experience, I discovered that some kids need more support than others. That made me go back to school and get my bachelors degrees in special education (learning disabilities). I started working in a Psychopedagogy Center for Prevention and Early Detection, visiting schools and helping kids, teachers, and parents. I learned that kids with learning disabilities do not only need help in academics, they need emotional help as well. After two years or working in this setting, I decided to go back and get a degree in child psychotherapy. I spent fourteen years working in education in Mexico, having marvelous experiences and loving teaching, changing lives, and empowering families.
I met my husband (he is from Robstown) and we got married and moved to Texas. After two years I had a beautiful daughter named Tamara. Now that I am in Texas, I have been working and helping kids with autism, a beautiful experience.
